Stove Top Muffins (Diphaphata)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk or water

Instructions

  1. On a floured board, knead to rolling consistency.
  2. Flatten with hands or rolling pin to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 3-4\" circles (can use the bottom of a glass)
  3. In a frypan over medium-low heat, brown on each side for about 10 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately.
