About the same time I was gearing up to start my Simple Living Challenge, I came across a delightful blog called Lisa’s Foods on the Move. Better yet, she recently published an e-book called Seasonal Simplicity (Click here to view more details; affiliate link).
She graciously offered to let me review a copy and give one away to one of my readers! I think you’ll love it, as I did.
It’s divided into seasons (winter, spring, autumn, summer) and provides micro-movements, or small steps, you can take towards living a more simple life. The micro-movements include recipes, crafts, organizing ideas, and more. The photos are gorgeous, and has lots of room for journaling and taking notes.
How You Can Win a Copy
To enter, simply comment below saying why you’d like to win. Entries will be accepted until January 2y, 2011, midnight EST. Lisa gave me a free review copy but all opinions are my own.

The book sounds wonderful! I did a lot of local and seasonal cooking during the summer and fall. I belonged to a CSA, which helped. I haven’t been so good this winter, actually I have no idea what winter food is. We have changed to mostly clean eating and I’m in the process of losing weight. This sounds like the perfect book for me! Thanks for giving me this chance!
Teresa
what a wonderful book topic. I am taking steps to get back on a more local, natural eating path and this book is really interesting to me. I would love to win it. Thank you!
Cara
Looks like a wonderful book! I am trying to eat more locally and homemade food, so this would be great for me! Thank you!
Anna
This sounds great! I always knew eating seasonally was better for freshness and your pocketbook; however it wasn’t until recently that I learned that it is a big tenent in Chinese Medicine as well. That being said, I have been really trying this winter..but aside from squash and potatoes I’m at a loss! I would love to win this book 🙂

Ohh, it’s got PLANNING pages in it too! That’d be an added bonus. Like the others here-I’ve got a lot to learn about how to eat locally in the winter! No one grows anything this time of year, as far as I can tell.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to win this book! I’ve been so discouraged by the things I have been reading and studying about our food supply and we have been making quite a few changes in our lives since our recent move. I’ve moved to an area that seems to have a good local food supply and I know this book will help me continue to make good choices and get healthier.
Crystal
This book looks delightful! I’d love to win.
Jolon @ Savvy Chic Savings
I so need this. Absolutely perfect for my new fascination with minimalism.
Anna
I would love this book. I am trying to cook with vegetables and fruits in season.

i also would love to have the book. i am trying to live – not just cook (not that that isn’t a big step) – more in the season so would be just as interested in the crafts and organizing portions of it.
The Diaper Diaries
I started seasonal cooking last year and love learning more and more about it.
Rebecca
This sounds like a great book to have. Living in Michigan, we are so much at the mercy of the weather and it would be good to have a better idea of how to live seasonally without going stir-crazy.

I’d love to win this book because I’d love to have recipes for each season. Buying produce in season is cheaper anyway. Great way to stretch the budget.
Bridget
I’ld love this book because we try to eat seasonally and my CSA always comes up with something to stump use!

Found your blog through the Spice Rack Challenge list, and couldn’t resist this post. :^) The organizing ideas part of the book sounds really useful for me – I’ve been eating (mostly) seasonally for years, but I can’t get my mind to cooperate with basic household organizing principles…
