Any Fruit Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 9 inch pastry shell (unbaked)
  • 2 cups peaches (sliced; can also use apricots, plums, cherries, or berries)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. 1. Arrange fruit in pastry shell and sprinkle with sugar.
  2. 2. Mix remaining ingredients well and pour over fruit. Bake in preheated oven at 450F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake until custard is set, about 25 minutes.
