After a two-year hiatus due to personal reasons, I have decided to resurrect Wholistic Woman.
Some days it feels like the world is going to hell in a handbasket. We are in the midst of a global pandemic, the left and the right are forgetting they are part of the same body, toilet paper and hand sanitizer are hard to find, and people are shooting each other over a face mask.
Closer to home, frequent domestic and occasional international travel have been replaced by Zoom meetings. Carb consumption has increased and weekend races have been replaced with Netflix binges. My husband bought tubs of freeze dried meals in case of the zombie apocalypse. I’m kidding about the zombie apocalypse; however we really do have 30 days of rations in the basement.

It will likely not get me many followers or shares. But that’s not why I have returned to blogging. My blog is my space (not MySpace, for those old enough to remember the days before Facebook). I’ve returned to lend voice to what I hope is the reasonable majority.
Those familiar with the Enneagram will not be surprised to learn that I am a 9. My coworkers and I were chatting about all the vitriol in the mask debates. I said,
My coworker replied, “that’s some serious enneagram 9 energy right there.”
I believe we need some more 9 energy in the world right now. That is why I’ve decided to speak.
What's on your mind?
