Normally I’m a glass half full kind of gal. But this past week was simply atrocious. I was tempted to title this post “Life’s Gonna Suck When You Grow Up.” (I love that song, you can find the lyrics here). DH and I agreed that it’s hard to be an adult sometimes.
As you know I’ve had technical difficulties. This week has been a nightmare. I’m on the road for work and dealing with my websites disappearing. Then they tell me it’s back up, but I’ve lost a week’s worth of posts. Which they can’t restore, despite me having paid for daily backups! I am so sad …

Aren’t these plums gorgeous? I picked them up at a roadside fruit stand last Saturday. Just perfect for the Plum Tart that I wanted to make from Simply in Season. Even though the finished product didn’t turn out nearly as perfect as a Smitten Kitten photo, it was still tasty.
