Guys, I feel like I’m waiting for Christmas. May 1 not only starts farmers market season here in West Michigan, but it’s also the launch for Simple Seasonal Meal Plans!
I’ve been combing through my favorite recipes, finding and testing new dishes, and taking note of prep-ahead techniques. I have even started taking an online nutrition class, and although I just started I have to tell you that what we eat is SO important to, well, everything!
We all know we should eat seasonal, local, organic, fresh, whole foods. But, you know, TIME.
That’s why I developed Simple Seasonal Meal Plans. One of the things I’ve learned over the years of being part of vegetable subscriptions (CSAs) and being involved in our local food movement is that a little preparation goes a LONG way. A couple of hours on the weekend can make the difference between a healthy, home cooked meal and stopping for $5 pizza on the way home from work.
Simple Seasonal Meal Plans does a lot of the homework for you. Easy recipes that are do-able on a work or school night? Check. A shopping list that includes normal ingredients that take advantage of what’s in season? Check. Weekend prep-ahead tips to make weeknight meals even easier? Check.
This meal plan subscription is going to be offered for an introductory price when the doors open on May 1, but I’m looking for members of a launch team to provide feedback on the format, instructions, and recipes. In exchange you can get a FREE three month subscription.
