peanuts (chopped)

eggs (slightly beaten)

Chop the figs; add along with the vanilla and water in a small bowl, stir, and let sit.

In a saute' pan, melt the butter; add peanuts and flakes and saute' until darkened and it starts to smell really good; add cinnamon and salt and cook another minute or so.

Whisk eggs and honey into the bowl with the other wet ingredients; mix well; then add in the oat mixture.

Press into the bottom of an 8x8 pan and bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until the edges start pulling away from the pan. Invert and cool on a rack. Cut into bars. Will keep for 1 week.
