Black Thai Burgers
For the Burgers

cilantro (finely chopped)
mint (finely chopped)

lime juice

fish sauce
jalapeno pepper (minced, with seeds)
garlic (minced)
lime zest (grated)
ginger (fresh, grated)

For the Mushrooms

butter
peanut oil

ounces
shiitake mushrooms (sliced)

pepper

Hamburger buns
Mix together ingredients for the burgers in a large bowl.
In a medium saute' pan, melt butter, add oil, ginger, and then the mushrooms and seasonings and saute' until tender, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
Grill the burgers to desired doneness.
Serve burgers on the buns, topped with the mushrooms.
