Cook together cold water, wild rice, and oil until tender, 30 minutes. Cool to lukewarm.

2

Combine warm water, molasses, and yeast in a mixing bowl, stirring until dissolved. Add cooled rice.

3

Add remaining ingredients, stirring in enough flour to make a stiff, smooth dough (may need up to 3 cups of bread flour). Knead about 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turn to grease both sides, cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in bulk, about 1-1 1/2 hours. Punch down, divide in half, shape into loaves and place into greased loaf pans. Let rise again, about 1 hour. Bake in preheated oven at 375F for 30 minutes.
