The night before, mix the oats and buttermilk or yogurt together in a large bowl, cover, and refrigerate.

In the morning, stir together the eggs and oil.

Mix together the remaining ingredients (can do this step the night before), and add to batter and mix briefly. Fry in a hot, greased frypan.
