Sugared Asparagus

asparagus (cut in 1 inch lengths)

chicken broth

Melt together butter and brown sugar in large frypan over medium high heat until dissolved.

Add asparagus and saute' 2 minutes.

Stir in broth, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer until just tender, 6-8 minutes. Remove asparagus to a warm dish. Return liquid to a boil and simmer uncovered until sauce is reduced by half, about 5 minutes. Pour over asparagus. If desired, garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
