Over the weekend we had a potluck at our friend's house, and as you might imagine the food was AWESOME. I especially liked these cookies by my BFF Christina. Her daughter has egg allergies, so these are an especially welcome treat for her.

We’re not sure where they originated, as they have been passed around quite a bit.

(2) Bring to a boil and boil one minute.
(3) Remove from heat and add peanut butter.

Pecan Sandies

1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 T. water
2 c. flour

1 )Cream butter and powdered sugar together. Add vanilla, water and pecans; Add flour and mix well.
2) Bake at 300 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
3) Roll in powdered sugar when still a little warm, so it sticks to the cookies. (about 2 dozen)
