This week’s Sunday Supper theme is peaches. These days I love eating them raw for a snack. But back when I was cooking through Simply in Season, I stumbled across this simple recipe that uses any fruit. Of course, I’m partial to the peach version. Like anything though, the tastiest will be whatever fruit is in season. The fruit really shines through in this recipe!
The Verdict: I for one LOVED the custard. It was creamy and the vanilla was a great touch Even though the recipe says you can use any fruit, I think the soft flavor of peaches goes really well with the custard. Mmm, custard.
