This week’s Sunday Supper theme is easy to make patriotic recipes. I decided to try my hand at Bang Bang Pork Chops. I LOVE Bang Bang Shrimp at restaurants, but since the 4th of July often features grilling I thought giving pork chops the bang bang treatment would be more appropriate.
I ended up making this as a sheet pan meal rather than the grill, but I think it would be even better if the pork chops were crisped up on the grill before going into the oven to finish with the sauce. For the sides I simply threw a handful of broccoli and garlic scapes on the pan and drizzled with garlic infused olive oil.
The Verdict: Delicious! The flavor was awesome, although I should have added a bit more Sriracha. I also loved the roasted garlic scapes.
